Arsenal Vs Chelsea Set to be Live Today At 5:30PM - What You Need to Know and FT Prediction

Today, Arsenal and Chelsea will be meeting at Wembley to settle the 2020 FA Cup final.

Both sides pulled off upset wins (kind of) by taking out the Manchester sides in the semi-finals to set up a rematch of the 2017 final that the Gunners won 2-1.

However Arsenal haven’t beaten Chelsea this season and so despite the fact that their qualification for next season’s Europa League rests upon them winning at Wembley, Chelsea’s superior quality (they finished 10 points ahead of Arsenal) should see them win an FA Cup to cap Frank Lampard‘s first season in charge.

Arsenal previous line-ups:

Arsenal (vs Watford): Martinez; Maitland-Niles, Holding, David Luiz, Tierney; Xhaka, Ceballos; Pépé, Willock, Aubameuang, Lacazette.

Chelsea's Previous Line-ups:

Chelsea (vs Wolves): Caballero; Azpilicueta, Zouma, Rudiger; James, Jorginho, Kovacic, Alonso; Mount, Pulisic; Giroud.

Arsenal’s injury list is extensive and they will be without Shkodran Mustafi, Gabriel Martinelli, Calum Chambers, Pablo Mari and Bernd Leno. Moreover Mesut Ozil and Matteo Guendouzi are clearly not in Mikel Arteta’s plans and are unlikely to play.

Meanwhile N’Golo Kanté has missed Chelsea’s last six games with hamstring trouble but could be in line for a return whilst Billy Gilmour is still out with a knee problem. Willian is due to leave the club next week and could be left out for that reason.

Players to Watch in Arsenal vs Chelsea's Match Today:

Arsenal: It’s a bit passé to put a star striker here but there really will be no more important player for Arsenal than Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

Chelsea: While Christian Pulisic is obviously loaded with the potential to do something amazing, the one player to watch for Chelsea has to be former-Arsenal man Olivier Giroud.

Scoreline prediction: Arsenal 2-3 Chelsea

Arsenal (recent form all competitions): WLWWL

Chelsea: WLWWL.
